Enjoy an afternoon of live music by Blake Noble as we celebrate and release newly emerged Monarch Butterflies into the wild. Butterfly release will be at 3 pm.

Citizen scientists and CCC volunteers work with entomologist David G. James PhD, Associate Professor of Entomology at Washington State University to rear and tag Monarch butterflies. Dr. James studies the migration patterns of the Monarch butterflies from the Pacific Northwest. This work enhances our understanding of the Monarchs and aids in the conservation of this declining species.

Picnic style seating. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets.

Chronic Foods will be on site as well!
